The Opportunist
Man. This book, the whole series actually, was supposed to be this awesome, emotions tugging, THE FEELS, kinda thing ... and all I felt was rage. Well, no, not really. Because I got the point where I did not care enough about Olivia and Caleb to feel even that. Just so so many things I disliked about the characters. I don't have to LOVE characters to be invested in their story, but I do have to give a crap about them. And I just didn't. I can only be told over and over so many times how horrible a person Olivia is before I just believe her and stop reading.
So here's the thing. The premise? I liked that part. But it kind of all went downhill after that.
